The Official Margot & The Nuclear So and So's Site

As of today, Epic has given the green light to begin tracking the third margot album. Sessions will begin in a week or two. First up will be the recording of three songs, "earth to aliens: what do you want?", "Let's paint our teeth green", and "nobody knows the names of all those birds". There are some major changes afoot in the nuclear camp, but a record is beginning, and that's something to smile about. Wish us luck. We will update, in typical margot fashion, as things progress.

Richard, Andy, and Tyler have been doing some initial work on a few songs that are slated for margot #3. The trio have been cavorting in Chicago to work through a batch of songs with Brian Deck, producer maximus behind Animal! as well as far more successful albums. The past couple weeks have seen work on "let's paint our teeth green", "earth to aliens:what do you want?", and "Arvydas Sabonis". Next week's work sees the beginning of "Your lower back tattoo (haunts me everytime I come", "NYC hotel blues #3", and "Two girls (in the same bed)". Every band says, "this album will contain a lot of surprises!", so we'll just say, "this album will sound like everything else we do". If you like us, get excited. If you don't, f*** right off. But please sign the guest book first.

Second bit of news...

Margot will be performing "Pages Written on a Wall" on June 8th and "Children's Crusade on Acid" on June 11th on Fuel TV's "The Daily Habit" at 9:00 PM EST.
