Richard, Andy, and Tyler have been doing some initial work on a few songs that are slated for margot #3. The trio have been cavorting in Chicago to work through a batch of songs with Brian Deck, producer maximus behind Animal! as well as far more successful albums. The past couple weeks have seen work on "let's paint our teeth green", "earth to aliens:what do you want?", and "Arvydas Sabonis". Next week's work sees the beginning of "Your lower back tattoo (haunts me everytime I come", "NYC hotel blues #3", and "Two girls (in the same bed)". Every band says, "this album will contain a lot of surprises!", so we'll just say, "this album will sound like everything else we do". If you like us, get excited. If you don't, f*** right off. Second bit of news... Last week we shot more film for the movie that the folks at la blogotheque are making about margot. Footage was shot in Chicago over the course of a few days. The take away style shows we filmed consisted of the following songs,

We're very excited about the film and think that all of the kind folks who have followed our modest discography since 2005 will enjoy it a great deal. Some initial editing has begun and it should come out at the same time as album #3, which is soon. Hopefully.
